Your sailing adventure begins in Puerto Aventuras just 10 minutes north of Taninah. You’ll check in with the Fat Cat Crew, listen to a 15 minute safety briefing, and then depart from the marina.
On the way to the little visited secret cove of Xaac, we’ll do some sport fishing from the catamaran while others relax, listen to tunes, or snack on fresh fruit platters. Beverages are included. Be on the lookout for sea turtles as they are often spotted from the cat.
We should arrive at Xaac cove around 11:30am where we’ll drop anchor and do some snorkeling on the pristine reef. They’ll also be plenty of beach and exploring time including the opportunity to climb the 800 year old temple not far from where we’ll anchor. Fresh guacamole, salsa, tortillas, and fresh fruit platters will be served onboard.
Around 1pm, we’ll depart Xaac for return sail down the coast. We’ll then deploy the boom net for everyone who wishes to try their hand at this invigorating experience. We’ll then set sail for the spring water mangrove pool where you’ll have an opportunity to swim.
Before heading back to Puerto Aventuras, we’ll have an opportunity to visit the famous spiral floating island as featured on Discovery Channel & Ripley's “Believe It or Not”.
We’ll arrive at the marina around 2:45pm so you’ll have plenty of time to return to Taninah, freshen up, and take a snooze in a hammock before dinner is served.
