What is Taninah?

Taninah is comprised ten fenced and gated acres. Five of the property's ten acres have been carefully sculpted and thoughtfully developed to include five unique guest houses, incredible installations, and unparalleled amenities. Taninah can accommodate up to 35 guests.

Taninah is only offered in its entirety to one group at a time. (Guest houses are never offered for rent individually.) Consequently, our guests enjoy full, private, and exclusive use of the entire property. Seven night reservation rates include private cook preparing up to 3 meals per person per day, a starter beverage package, up to two 10-passenger vans providing round-trip ground transportation services between Cancun International Airport and Taninah, unlimited miniature golf, and taxes.

Location

Taninah is located one hour and fifteen minutes south of Cancun International Airport.
Playa del Carmen is located just 16 miles north of Taninah.
Spectacular Xpu-Ha beach is located just 3.5 miles from Taninah, only a 10 minute drive.
All major Riviera Maya attractions, tours, and experiences are located within 30 minutes of Taninah.

Accommodations

Taninah offers five unique guest houses as well as other structures that provide additional sleeping areas.
All guest houses have ceiling and/or floor fans. None of our structures have A/C; however, all are naturally cool and comfortable even in hot summer months.
Our bed count is 8 king beds, 3 queen beds, 1 matrimonial bed, 7 double futons (sofa beds), 4 individual beds, 4 inflatable beds, and 2 cribs.
Accommodations available for up to 35 guests.
All guest houses and additional sleeping areas have large, comfortable, airy, ecologically sound, and odorless composting bathrooms with hot water.

Taninah has been featured on Home and Garden Television's (HGTV's) Extreme Homes. Caribbean World, a quarterly magazine, featured Taninah in an article titled Living in Eden where our cover billing was, "Dream Home in Mexico". An article focusing on Taninah's environmental practices appeared in the leading newspaper of the Netherlands. The Travel Channel featured Taninah on Amazing Vacation Homes in early 2006.
